Hyvää päivää!
I am working with RefWorks. For my doctorate thesis I am looking for finnish literature, too. This is why I am searching in Helmet and Helka.
With both catalogues I have difficulties to export data in order to import it directly to RefWorks (or, if this is easier, in RIS Format, Marc or Map, or endnote-format). Could you explain how to do this?

If you do not know for helka, I would be interested if there is a chat reference service at helka who could know this.

Kiitoksia paljon avustanne!

Helka doesn´t have chat service. In Helka it is possible to get the MARC view and then proceed according to RefWorks.
1. Take first the Helka search page https://helka.linneanet.fi/cgi-bin/Pwebrecon.cgi?PAGE=sbSearch&SEQ=20080...
2. Select the English language in the upright corner.
3. When you search a book, you´ll get the book or a list of books.
4. Click the underlined title of the book and you´ll get a page where there are the short information and the holdings of the book.
5. Above the bibliographic information of the book you´ll see a link to a MARC view. By clicking it you´ll get the MARC information.

Another way to do this in Helka is as follows:
Use the ENDEAVOR VOYAGER format and choose HELKA as database.
Then copy the "KOKO VIITE" information of the title and import.

With the Helmet it works about the same way.
1. Select first the Helmet search page http://www.helmet.fi/
2. Select the English language in the upright corner.
3. In the white box you can write either the author or a part of the title of the book.
4. When you search a book, you´ll get the book or a list of books.
5. Click the title of the book and you´ll get the full information and the holdings of the book
6. Above the title in the middle you´ll see the MARC link.

The University and polytechnic libraries use the Endeavor Voyager system + MARC21-Fin. More information is available http://www.nationallibrary.fi/libraries/format.html
The Helsinki metropolitan area use the Millennium.

If you have any further questions about the filters you can contact the RefWorks http://www.refworks.com/content/contact.asp
