I would like to get hold of some images of Finnish bridges, not just ordinary...

I would like to get hold of some images of Finnish bridges, not just ordinary bridges but those which are special in some way. Special because of the design, the materials used or perhaps they are very attractive aesthetically.
Do you know where I can obtain some images?? (I am looking for about six images).
thanks .. Keith Burgess

Answer

Here are some of our most prominent or interesting bridges, length wise or aesthetically. Of course tastes and preferences differ, but hopefully you will find your six among these.

Sattmarkin silta
Kirveenrauman silta
Tähtiniemen silta
Ylistön silta
Sääksmäens silta
Kärkisten silta
Lövön silta
Sattmarkin silta
Aavasaksan silta
Kirjalansalmen silta
Vihantasalmen silta
Hessundinsalmen silta
Jätkänkynttiläsilta
Raippaluodon silta (longest)
Tähtiniemen silta (2nd longest)
Kuokkalan silta
Saimaan silta (has a lift tower)
Ternujoen silta (small wooden bridge, picture in the book)
Saamen silta (awarded, between Finland and Norway in Lappland)

Some have better pictures in the internet than others, but if you are here in Helsinki, you can also consult this great book:
