After the war finished in 1945, Finland was faced with the very difficult task of providing 'reparation payments' to Russia in the form of manufactured products and materials.
I understand Finland completed ALL it's 'reparation' obligations to Russia.
How many years did it take Finland to complete all it's 'reparation payments'?
It took Finland 8 years to deliver the war reparation goods to the Soviet Union. Newspaper link below contains all the essential information concerning the topic.
Suffice it to say that when the Soviets and the Finns signed the formal reparations agreement on December 17th 1944, it was set at $300 million based on the dollar’s 1938 value. Initially the period of payment was to be six years but already in the fall of 1945, the Soviet extended the period to eight years. Also, the initial $300 million was reduced to the total sum of $226,5 million.
