Could you inform me what is the most ancient publishing house of the world that...
According to Wikipedia at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cambridge_University_Press and many other sites, the oldest publishing house in the world is the Cambridge University Press. It was founded in 1534 by Henry VIII, but the first book wasn’t published until 1584. Since that, the Cambridge University Press has continually published books, and will certainly publish them in the future, too. The website of the CUP can bee seen at http://www.cambridge.org.19.6.2010 00:58
