The best starting point could be National Defence Univercity Library. You can put a question Ask a Librarian Service and address (menu bar) it to National Defence Univercity Library. http://www.libraries.fi/en-GB/ask_librarian12.8.2010 13:51Helsingin kaupunginkirjasto

Helsingfors centraltryckeri och bokbinderi Ab (in Swedish), or Helsingin Keskuskirjapaino ja kirjansitomo Oy (in Finnish), was founded in 1889. In English the name translates roughly as the Helsinki Central Printing House and Bookbinder. In the beginning it also went by the finnish name Helsingin sentraalikirjapaino ja kirjansitomo osakeyhtiö. The printing house was responsible for printing, among other things, parliamentary documents as well as the literary works and scientific books of...1.1.2018 15:49Helsingin kaupunginkirjasto

It might be best to bring your magazines to a book exchange shelf in a library. You can leave your own used books and magazines there. You can also take any interesting book you find.
There is a book exchange shelf in at least 42 libraries. You can find a list of those libraries here: http://www.helmet.fi/en-US/Libraries_and_services Open the "Show libraries that have" -menu and click on "Book Exchange".

National and international organizations like Fida, UFF, Salvation Army etc collect donations and use the procedes to fund different types of beneficial projects. Local libraries occasionally accept donations as well, or then they may have a place dedicated for customer to 'give & take'.

It is possible to borrow skates in some libraries. There are skates for girls and boys in Herttoniemi, Pukinmäki, Jakomäki and Tapulinkaupunki libraires. There are touring skates in Herttoniemi, Laajasalo and Pukinmäki libraries. It is not possible to reserve them via Internet. You can either call or visit the libraries in order to reserve them.

I cannot find any reason why you should not have been able to renew your loan. (Possible reasons would be e.g. too many renewals, too much unpaid fees, loss of the right to borrow, etc. but none of these apply to you.)
Anyway, I now renewed your loan. The new due date is 10.3.2017.
If you still have problems in renewing your loans, please contact any Helmet library.

Lpg cylinders with their valves still intact are categorized as hazardous waste and should be disposed in a waste collection center such as the HSL Sortti-stations. Since the Lpg-canister in question is considered as household waste, a store selling them isn't required to collect or dispose the canisters.
For a household with no car, you can use public transports. The two Sortti-stations in Helsinki are in Kivikonlaita 5, 00940 HELSINKI and Betonitie 3, 00390 HELSINKI. The appropriate buses...6.8.2011 22:32

You can get a personal HelMet library card, the right to borrow and a PIN code at any HelMet library (the public libraries in Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa and Kauniainen) or mobile library. You will get the library card when you state your address and present a valid ID card with a photograph and personal identity number accepted by the library. To be able to receive a library card you need an address in...1.6.2016 10:10Helsingin kaupunginkirjasto

There is a piano and a practiceroom in Library 10 at Postitalo. The address is Elielinaukio 2 G, it's the big yellow building right between the railway station and the museum of modern art Kiasma. When you take the entrance from Elielinaukio the library is on the 2nd floor, right above the post office, take the escalators up.
The best way to book the practiceroom is visiting Library 10 personally and check the times that work the best for you. As Library 10 is a music library, there is also an...26.7.2012 17:21
