The sentence implies that we cannot know if there have been others or not, since no one before Haavisto had been open about the question.

I'm afraid we found very little information about the artist and nothing at all about Paul Palokoski.
There are two paintings from J. Palokoski on this page: http://kauppa.digikuvasto.fi/index.php?page=search&action=hae&taiteilija=890
They are for sale.
If you can read Finnish, you can get some information from this debate: http://keskustelu.suomi24.fi/node/5504946
I'm sorry we couln't find any more information about Paul Palokoski.18.11.2011 17:32Helsingin kaupunginkirjasto

Hello! You are right. The local government office of Padasjoki informed us that a branch of the Finnish 4H federation used to run a summer cafe at Enni Id's cabin, but the place has been closed for two summers.
However, it should be possible to visit Enni Id's cabin, if you contact the head of recreational services in Padasjoki, tel. 0400 713 303. They'll do their best to help you.
Our readers may wonder who Enni Id is. Samples of her work:

Impossible to say. In all countries there are not such registers that would tell how many people there are by any name.
In Finland there is Nimipalvelu, run by Väestörekisterikeskus. http://192.49.222.187/Nimipalvelu/default.asp?L=1
It tells us that in Finland there are 350 people having the first name Alexis, of which 22 are women.12.11.2008 20:35Helsingin kaupunginkirjasto

There is a possibility to obtain addresses of persons in Finland. The Population register center offer a possibility to get an address in Finland. The addresses of the people you are looking for can usually be found using such basic information as a first name, a family name (current or former) as well as accurate of a date-of-birth as possible; it might be, however, necessary to provide some other background information such as a former address or place of residence in order to identify the...29.3.2008 01:40Helsingin kaupunginkirjasto

If you want to obtain information about your ancestors in Finland you'd better know the parish where they were born. The parish has an office (kirkkoherranvirasto in Finnish) that can give you an extract from the population register. This service is liable to charge.
If you don't know yor father's birht parish, you may contact The Genealogical Society of Finland. They can offer you a service that detects the right sources for your needs. For a fee they can make your whole genealogy. On their...11.10.2007 16:26Helsingin kaupunginkirjasto

I cannot tell you reason why some people like things that other people dislike, but is it good that we like different things and features.
We do not look the same and our likings and our intelligences are diffent. We like differnt music, colours and food.
If everybody would like, let's say history, noboby would care about biology.

Hi!
Sorry to say, but we have not found more information that you already have in this answer from "Ask a Librarian" -service:
"How to win at Roulette" (Dr Fridor Ehrenström)is not available according the Union Catalogue of Finnish University Libraries (LINDA) and he is not listed as author in any databases. You can ask more information about that mathematician http://www.smfl.fi/yhteystiedot.php. E-mail:toimisto@smfl.fi.
It is possible that the christian name is Fridjof instead of Fridor.4.4.2006 01:02Helsingin kaupunginkirjasto
DNA can be many things, but suppousingly you mean the DNA that carries genetic information!
Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) is a nucleic acid —usually in the form of a double helix— that contains the genetic instructions specifying the biological development of all cellular forms of life, and most viruses. DNA is a long polymer of nucleotides and encodes the sequence of the amino acid residues in proteins using the genetic code, a triplet code of nucleotides.

Hello! Humans have sharp tools in their mouth :-) so it may be assumed the the umbilical cord was bitten by the mother or by "the midwife". The sharp instruments date back to the Palaeolithic period, which is the earliest phase of the Stone Age. See http://www.digonsite.com/glossary/nr.html
I came across an interesting article about the evolution of childbirth. According to this article the assistance during childbirth possibly dates back to five million years ago, when our ancestors first...14.12.2005 18:19Helsingin kaupunginkirjasto
