There are at least some internet-pages, where it is possible to learn Finnish language online. Here are two pages, where teaching language is English: www.finnishschool.com and http://donnerwetter.kielikeskus.helsinki.fi/finnishforforeigners.
Also on YLE’s (Finnish Broadcasting Company) internetpage you can find material for studying Finnish language. Hi,
Using html-code, you can basically compose a website using only a notepad-program (exluding the obvious operating system software). Then you need some kind of FTP file transfer program (File Transfer Protocol).
Here's link to a guide how to code a website with html: http://www.make-a-web-site.com/
Of course the easiest and propably the most common way is to use some web development application like Adobe Dreamweaver or Adobe Go Live (www.adobe.com/products ) or with free HTML editor...2.2.2009 20:28

According to Gmail the service currently provided is over four gigabytes of free storage and there is pay storage possibility. Google has stated that they would "keep giving people more space forever". All Google states about the subject now is that it will keep increasing storage by the second as long as they have enough space on their servers. The only way other users can see the web page you are visiting is to actually look at it with their own eyes.
This, unfortunately, is something that does happen. I work at the library but use the public computers quite often, as I haven't got internet access at home. I've been aware of the problem since the shocking moment I realized the guy at the next computer was reading my email. (Can't understand why he found it so interesting.) If you're worried about data security, choose your...11.6.2007 16:39Helsingin kaupunginkirjasto

This is a known and curious fact. The reasons for this phenomenon apparently follows the Brazilian Internet Phenomenon. For example, Brazil is home to the highest number of MSN Messenger users. Services such as weblogs and photoblogs are now very popular with Brazilian users as well. In a recent interview to a Brazilian news site the creator of orkut said he doesn't understand the phenomenon.

Dear Egyptian student,
The Helsinki City Library website was published in 1994. You can find some of the earlier versions from http://www.archive.org , search for http://www.lib.hel.fi . Data Administration Manager Jouni Juntumaa is in charge of the site management. The site is updated continuously. As far as we know, the Cable Book Library of Helsinki City Library published the first library website in the world. It was published in 1994.
