There is a constant shortage of practice space in the Helsinki area for bands and people who want to play music. The City of Helsinki’s youth centers (in Finnish Nuorisotalo) offer some practice rooms to young musicians and bands around the city. In some cases they may even have drums or some other instruments.
Some HelMet-libraries have small practice rooms and other music-related facilities, but the spaces are usually quite small and may not be suitable for a large group. In any case...27.4.2015 14:02Helsingin kaupunginkirjasto

Hello, Miwa Miyawaki!
The most Finnish flea markets these days – and especially in this time of year - are permanent, indoor type (with stalls and no sellers present): however, there are two flea markets in that weekend in Helsinki, and your best bet would be the weekly market called "Valtteri" in the downtown area (Aleksis Kiven katu 17). Please, note that it’s very popular, so be sure to show up early (before 9 a.m., that is...):

Most hobby classes and workshops are at the Adult learning center, or Vantaan aikuisopisto. Presently, it is closed but will open later.

Hi there!
There are plenty of hot air balloon companies in Finland.
After a quick search it would seem that the price for one person is a bit less than 200 euros for a flight depending on the size of the group and the company.
There are also luxury flights that end up in a picnic with sparkling wine, but of course the prices are higher.
There are plenty of companies in Helsinki, but also across the country. You can for example catch a flight in Lapland.
If you follow the links below,...23.5.2009 12:22

Hi!
It depends on the model of the clock. Some radio controlled clocks are capable of receiving time signals broadcast by other time signal stations located in other countries.
This allows the clocks to be sold and used internationally. (Source: http://tf.nist.gov/timefreq/general/pdf/1976.pdf, page 7)
It is advisable to ask further details from the retailer.5.11.2007 07:13

Search in Helsinki region public library catalogue (http://www.helmet.fi ) didn’t give many results. Here is one publication that might be useful for you: Suoranta, Juha: Children in the information society : the case of Finland (New York : Peter Lang Publishing, cop. 2004). The book is dealing with subjects like children and young people, information society, media culture, spare...30.10.2007 02:34Helsingin kaupunginkirjasto
